NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene: Fentanyl Test Strip Training of Dispensers

This virtual training is required for all staff who will distribute fentanyl test strips through the Expanded Fentanyl Distribution Pilot Program, though non-pilot program staff are welcome to attend. The purpose of this virtual training is to:

· Understand how to use fentanyl test strips and train participants how to use them
· Review the pilot program order form
· Understand the monthly reporting system
· Have informed conversations about safer use with community members who use fentanyl intentionally or unintentionally


The training runs for approximately two hours and there will be time for questions.
